This week the school is celebrating A Taste of France. The children  are having the opportunity to taste a wide range of French foods including brioche, pains au chocolat, cheese, hot chocolate, baguettes and croissant as they learn more about each region of our near neighbour.

Jaunty bunting, balloons and the French flag add a festive feel to the five days and even the kitchen have joined in.  If you look on the menu section of our website, you'll see that all menus are written in French and reflect good French regional cooking - but they've stopped short of offering snails!

French teacher, Rachel Lewis said, "We're really immersing the children in all things French so that they can be inspired when it comes to learning the language."
