Foraging in the Autumn Garden
Reception have been looking around our autumnal garden looking for brightly coloured leaves and any last flowers as part of their Outdoor Learning lesson with Mrs Hubbard.
She said, “We carefully gathered pine cones, leaves and any non toxic foliage that we could find and have made natural coloured dyes. We have used the dyes to coat beautifully shaped leaves with. The leaves were then imprinted onto natural heavy cotton to make autumnal pictures.”
Reception teacher, Mrs Amanda Bembridge added, “Our classroom now looks incredibly seasonal.”
