We know that a good education is not just about success in the classroom.  We pay equal attention to our children’s happiness, sociability and feeling of belonging.  Everyone at Kingscourt learns the value of respect and consideration for others, using good manners and helping one another from a very early age.

By the time our children are in their last year, an important part of their prefecting and mentoring duties is to ensure that no-one is left out or unhappy.  Our School Council is democratically elected each term as each class from our Prep Department appoints two representatives to come together to discuss events, or issues raised by their classmates with lead staff.

We work very closely with parents to maintain our high levels of pastoral care and pride ourselves that we know each child and their family very well.   Kindness is a major watchword at Kingscourt – one which all of our children and staff bear in mind as they go about their daily lives here.

Kingscourt School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and expects staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
