Climb Every Mountain
Kindergarten enjoyed learning about Sir Edmund Hillary and Tensing Norgay, his sherpa last week. They discovered how a mountain expedition is organised, what sort of equipment the explorers took with them, the types of specimens they may have collected on the way and even set off on their own expedition in our extensive grounds.
Kindergarten Manager, Mrs Pam Lincoln said, “The children set up a camp having explored outside and even climbed a small incline to show how the explorers would have worked together to reach the summit. They made models of Mount Everest and painted pictures of it too.”
