Whole School Runs to raise money for Water Aid UK
Whole School Runs for Water Aid UK
Every child from Kindergarten to Year 6 together with staff, pulled on their running shoes this morning to complete one, or two, circuits of our cross country course.
Parents had kindly donated towards our Summer Term charity, Water Aid UK. The international charity transforms lives by improving access to safe water, hygiene and sanitation wherever it’s needed in the world. Early donations amounted to over £200.
Assistant Head and leader of the School Council who chose the charity and came up with the idea for the run, Helen Carroll said, “It was wonderful to see everyone running together to contribute towards making lives better for children in countries where life is more difficult.”
