Kingscourt Private School and Nursery
Here at Kingscourt, we believe nursery and school has a big part to play in creating an amazing childhood. Adventures await through our enriched curriculum.
We create this magic by offering an enriched curriculum enabling children to learn both inside and outside the classroom. Located in the village of Catherington, between Petersfield and Portsmouth, our school is housed in a beautiful Georgian building surrounded by acres of private playing fields and walled gardens – the perfect setting for children to thrive.More on our school
Meet the Headteacher
Our Headteacher Amanda Bembridge, believes in a fast-paced world, it’s important for children to savour their childhood.
Behind the red brick wall of Kingscourt school, lies an adventure playground of nature. Visitors are thrilled when they see the magical spaces that their children will get to call theirs whilst at Kingscourt.
From towering trees and trim trail nestled at the top of the garden to the multi-use games area, pitches and acres of fields in which to run. From our youngest Nursery children to our final Year 6 class, lessons in a range of subjects take place outside whilst inside the building is a buzz of excited learning.
The busy school day is integrated with modern technology and supported by a wide range of trips which include London museums and residential visits. Extracurricular activities encourage children to learn new skills, release their potential and develop each individual child.
Kingscourt staff are very proud of where they work, inspired by the children who are motivated to learn and supported by their parents who perpetuate our ethos of kindness, growing confidence and resilience, who are proud to show their school to visitors and who want the very best from each and every day.
Every day is an open day at Kingscourt, please come and see for yourself what we can offer your child.
Headteacher, Mrs Amanda Bembridge
