The Kingscourt adventure begins
Our Nursery at Kingscourt Prep School warmly welcomes two to four-year-olds into the delightful realms of Caterpillars and Butterflies, providing the perfect environment for early exploration and growth.
A play based curriculum is enhanced by daily opportunities to practice and learn new skills. Specialist sessions include Outdoor Learning, Spanish, Music, Phonics & Maths.
We are utterly spoilt by the acres of private grounds in which our children play, explore and discover. Come rain or shine we head outdoors for discovery walks, wildlife spotting, den-building and playtime.
Step into a world of wonder & nurturing care
School in Action Open Week, Monday 28th April - Friday 2nd May 2025.
We are incredibly excited to show you our state of the art home for our youngest students
With its own entrance from the back of the school and direct access out into our glorious garden and grounds - we can’t wait to show you around.
Our Nursery at Kingscourt Prep School is a very special place. The bespoke, eco conscious design of the new building sits in perfect contrast to our beautiful Georgian house. Our youngest children, in Caterpillar and Butterfly classes have constant and easy access to a purpose built play area that includes fantastic new fun, STEM focused games and resources, including a waterwall, play equipment and toys.
There is also direct access to the beautiful woodland and meadow grounds of the school, ready for our Outdoor Learning specialist teacher sessions. Indoors, the children have access to a host of brand new toys and games, and the light, bright interior has ceiling to floor windows – letting as much of beautiful outdoor space in as possible.
Our Nursery staff are renowned for their exceptional care and support of the children.
We truly believe that Kingscourt Nursery offers the best possible start to a child’s educational journey.
25 acres of awe-inspiring grounds
We are privileged to have the most fantastic outdoor space and a nursery and school community of adventurers keen to get out in the fresh air.
Our safe and secluded walled garden has been home to many dens over the past two decades, our children can play on our wonderful outside instruments, take a turn around our Trim Trail assault course or simply enjoy playing and learning amongst the wonderful surroundings our garden offers.
Our pupils benefit from an exciting outdoor learning programme that gives children the opportunity to explore and try new things.
Not only does this develop resilience and self-confidence in a supportive environment, it allows children to develop respect and an awareness of the natural world.
