Our list of extra-curricular clubs is extensive. We enrich our academic curriculum throughout the academic year with a wide array of clubs; something to suit everyone includes: football, lacrosse, rugby, cricket, netball, rounders, judo, gymnastics, fencing and tennis, craft such as drawing, painting, knitting, sewing and cookery as well as clubs which look at wildlife, explore aspects of the world around us and computer coding.
We have very enthusiastic attendance at our Lego club, archery, our junior book club, Chatterbooks, drama, running and chess. Clubs are sometimes free of charge, sometimes there’s a fee but they are always great fun and varied.
Children also get the chance to experience a comprehensive variety of trips both day and residential to further their learning, independence and personal development. These include visits to the local library and park as well as much further afield to the National Gallery, British Museum, Houses of Parliament, Natural History Museum, West End theatre, the Winchester Science Centre and nearby at HMS Victory and living history centre, SEARCH. Highly trained Kingscourt staff lead ski trips to the Alps, residential weeks in Paris and Rome as well as at an activities and team building centre in Wiltshire and more locally, in Hampshire.
